"... three weeks I lived in Akwadum and I managed to save hundreds of pictures of each person I met and each place I discovered. This all leaved a mark on me and made me think about their mindset, their lifestyle, or simply their charm.”

"… the people and the program itslef, knowing the most distant small villages has made a perfect experience and also has made each one of us think about Ghana as our home. But the most important, is knowing that the work done is going to give continuity to enormous projects. That is one of the best emotions we have.”

"Once we arrived in Koforidua, we called Wisdom, the local NGO director. He is a 38 years old constant man, he has what we call true smile. He is not an oprhan, but during a deep talk he told us that he had the stroke of luck of having his education supported since he was a kid by a lady from Ghana who lived in London. This lady is also the one who had the vision and developed the project Akwadum Christian Village. Wisdom told us that he feels lucky and in debt, and how one day he decided to dedicate his life to help others.”

"“The best moment of the entire day is around 8 in the morning, when the bus route starts. We honk the horn and the kids start to appear out of nowhere, running with they pretty blue uniforms, and happy. But the day gets better, we arrive at school and we get together with the little ones of the orphanage. Smiles and more smiles, what else does mosquitos gave you?, the rain, and everything else?...”
